Most Beautiful Khude Gaanraj Singer Porshi Biography and Photos Collection

Subrina Ehasan Porshi, widely known as Porshi, first came into screen through the talent hunt show Channel I Khude Gaanraj in 2008. She has a very excellent voice by which she can make spellbound her listeners.

Before participating in Khude Gaanraj, she used to learn classical music. She had her first lesson in music under her mother’s supervision when she was only five years old. In 2008, her music teacher Niaz Mamun advised and inspired her to take part in Khude Gaanraj.

 Winning the Khude Gaanraj competition was something which gave her a quick platform of spotlight and she really used that chance very well.



After the show Porshi started to work with famous music directors Arefin Rumi and made her own imprint on music scene. In 2010, she brought her first solo self-titled album, Porshi. This album really touched the heart of young people specially the “Tomari Poroishi” the duet song with Arefin Rumi became a much hit song.

She is now busy with her playback career. For the upcoming movie, Pirates of Black Secret, with Muhin she sang sad version of the title track, “Surjota dure gele”. Apart from others, she sang for movies like “Lal Tip” and “Tumi Achho Ami Achhi.” Porshi is now a student of class 9 at Cambrian School and she dreams to become a singer like Lata Mungeskar. “I know that these are my very early days in the scene. I need to go a long way. My dream is to become a singer who may be compared with legendry music icons like Lata Mungeskar, Runa Laila or Sabina Yasmin. Apart from my parents, they are my biggest inspiration to music,” said Porshi.

 That’s why she is learning classical music under Ustad Anup Barua and practising music two times every day.
